When I first got to Las Vegas, people told me it was a small town with an old west mentality. I didn’t really understand what that meant until I was here for a little longer. Las Vegas is a big city, with almost 2 million people in the metropolitan area, but the community still has that small town feel. The rules that you expect in other places don’t always apply here. Wild west indeed.

Sin City Rules is an apt title for the new reality show on TLC that follows the lives of powerful women in Las Vegas. They make their own rules. Welcome to the Wild West.
I had the opportunity to attend the premier of Sin City Rules. We attended the red carpet.

These are a few of the bloggers who were covering the event.
The five main cast members are: Jen, Lori, Lana, Amy and Alicia.

Alicia Jacobs

Alicia is a well known entertainment report in Las Vegas. She apparently travels with a group of Chippendales.
Amy Hanley
Amy is the daughter of an infamous mob boss. I didn’t get a great solo shot of her. She is in the red in the group pic.
Jennifer Harman

Jennifer is a celebrity poker player.
Kimberly Friedmutter

Kimberly is a celebrity hypnotist and life management specialist. (Her first appearance is in the fourth episode.)
Lana Fuchs

Lana is a fashion designer and the founder of FVCHS Brand and Billionaire Mafia. She also has a record company, a consulting/management company and a charity.
The first time I encountered was on an interview with Barbara Walters on 20/20. What do you think of her idea on extreme parenting.
When I saw the preview of Sin City Rules, I loved that Lana said, “If I want a monkey, I get a monkey.”

Lori Montoya

Lori is the owner of Rain Cosmetics, the first cosmetics company founded in Las Vegas.
The Show
After the red carpet was done, everyone went inside to watch a screening of the show. Of course, we were tweeting away at #sincityrules the whole time.
The show is everything I expect in a reality show. Random manufactured drama. A crazy cast of characters. Lines were drawn as to which people hate one another. The previews for the upcoming episodes look like there will be even more drama.
As a local girl, this is still far removed from my Las Vegas. I look forward to watching the upcoming episodes to see how it plays out!

I lost my concentration after viewing the picture of the Chippendales…oops…
T.
I would love to hire the group of Chippendales for my New Years Eve party! LOL!! Or… Just my Wednesday night?
