At Go Further with Ford, I had the pleasure of spending half a day at the Ford Test Track. I got to ride in a Mustang Boss 302. (In other words, a professional driver took me around the test track crazy fast. Some days, I am living my brother’s dreams.)

You get to see the Mustang and the Raptor Ride. (Thank you to Jill Hanner for her editing skills. I am pretty sure you know that I can’t do that. Yet.)
I didn’t get to videotape the cars that I personally drove. I started in the Ford Escape. After working with the crew on Escape Routes, I can officially say that it is a GREAT car. I’m not an SUV person, but that is a sweet set up. If you like SUVs, you should probably get that one.
I also got to drive the Police Interceptor, which was awesome. I would not mind having a car with sirens and lights.
My last ride was the Focus Electric. What a cool little spaceship. Like most electric and hybrid cars, it was so quiet. The ride was great. I really like it. While my heart belongs to the Fusion, I am also quite smitten with the Focus Electric. It would be perfect for me since I usually only drive short distances. But again, me + Fusion = TLF.

The Focus Electric is a good looking car. We’re definitely going electric or hybrid for our next car.

Great video…there were portions I had not seen before. Also, I am pretty sure that your obsession with the Fusion cannot be explained away by genetics alone (and at the risk of receiving a bloggomocking, what does TLF mean?).
How cool is that!!! My hubby would be sooooooooooooooooo jealous! He wants a Mustang & had the old old one when he was in high school – he will be 60 this year so one of those cool classic ones!

Oh this looks like such a fun experience! I would so love to drive the Police Interceptor – did they at least let you turn on the lights/siren?! So cool!
Okay, I would have barfed if I’d been in the back seat for that bumpy ride. I want a hybrid or electric. I do NOT want a truck or SUV. I was waiting for the screams during those drives, but I guess you edited those out!

Jealous! Even if you couldn’t drive the car around the track it must have been fun to be in the passenger seat.
I’m hiding the monitor from my hubby who would no doubt be asking why I was not taking part (translation: why he was not taking part) in such fun. I am instead telling him I’m watching video’s of hairless cats.

We are an SUV family (currently an explorer) but sizing down to an escape in the future might be nice! And I would love to drive a police car, what a fun experience!!

My husband is a HUGE Ford guy so I am sure he would be jealous if he heard you got to ride in a 302! I had a Ford for a long time and I always loved them. That off road track look so fun!!
