It’s Wednesday. I thought that I would get to tell you all about the reindeer machine that I used at the gym that makes my arms strong. (I cannot be expected to remember the names of these things. It looks like a reindeer. The other one looks like a robot helicopter and there’s also a butterfly. The rest don’t fit. But that’s for another day.) When I finished with Trainer, I went to the locker room to grab my stuff and saw that I had a voice mail from my mom. I took a breath and decided that I should check the voice mail at home.
Late last week, my grandmother was moved into hospice care. She had Stage Four bone cancer. Fortunately, my mother flew to Flordia to be with her, as did many other family members.
When I got home, I listened to the voice mail. It was what I thought. My grandmother passed away.
(I love this photo. Three generations.)
Mommom, thank you for the many beautiful memories. I’m grateful in ways that words cannot express that Mom was there with you.

So sorry for your loss. I remember the day that picture was taken.
I actually remember you telling me about that day. That’s what I meant. HUGS!
Sending big hugs to you and your family.
So sorry about your grandmother. That’s a wonderful photo — and, yes, it is so good that your mother was able to be with your grandmother at the end.
I’m so sorry for your loss. That’s a great picture. Everyone looks so happy and loving.
I”m sorry to hear that! Death is never easy, even when it’s expected. Hope your family is able to grieve together and remember the full life she had.
I wish you many happy memories. And wow, do you ladies all look similar. You’re the hottest!
Great photo – sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss- I loss my grandmother to pancreatic cancer last month so I feel your pain. I too was very close to her as she helped my mother raise me. The memories are where we find our strength to carry on. You now have an angel looking down over you to help guide you. I’m sure you’ve made her very proud. God bless to you and your family!
I love that picture! So sorry about your MomMom. xoxo
I would have done like you – waited until I got home. Maybe we share prescience! If so, you’ll know I am sending hugs your way virtually.
