People who read in RSS, you may want to click through if you haven’t in a while. The site got a makeover.
The makeover went a little something like this: I am tired of Thesis. … I am so tired of Thesis. … I can’t make Headway work. … Ugh, Thesis. … Does anyone know any good designers? … Cool, I’ll check them out.
I looked through Courtney’s portfolio and something clicked. Every now and then you see images from a designer and you know that person is someone that you are supposed to work with. Courtney was meant to be my designer.
I wanted a clean design with a cool logo that captured the essence of me. But how on earth do you explain that to someone you’ve never met? Pinterest, of course.
I found a color scheme that I loved and kept coming back to. No matter how much I love blue, I knew that the site was supposed to be red. Like my toes. If a site could be I’m not really a waitress, that’s what color my site would be. The color scheme is called Candied Apples.
Courtney took what was in my head and translated it perfectly. I could not be happier with the results. Even my husband says that she captured me perfectly. I want to make new websites so that she can design them for me. I also cannot wait to get Kitten a Go-Go merchandise. Because you know I want a canvas tote bag to take with me to the library.
I would recommend Courtney to anyone. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I’m pretty sure that she can read minds. If you want a redesign, but you are afraid of something that might be twee or have the same stock art lady that you have seen on hundreds of other blogs, I promise, you are not going to find that with Courtney.
