While we were in Joplin, we visited some amazing students at Irving Elementary. When I walked into the classroom, I saw a sign that had a list of behaviors on how you treat others the way you want to be treated. This was created for kids is elementary school, but it is clearly something that adults can use too.
I’m going to refer to these as my Joplin Life Lessons from now on. Imagine how nice the world would be if we all followed these simple rules.

I think I will be posting these rules at work and at home.
I am really liking the “mind your bubble” one … I tend to have a personal bubble and love that it was recognized! And such true lessons
Words of wisdom, indeed!
Definitely something we should all be mindful of ~ kids or adults.
Love this list. Adults and Children should use it equally!

Who needs Oprah’s Life Lessons when you have Joplin. Keep it simple stupid! Here is the thing, we are not smarter than a 5th grader and that is a shame!
