To the Makers of Candisol

Dear Bairn Biologics,

You make a product called Candisol.  I purchased this product after my colonic.  First, I will say, nice job.  I have been through 5 million yeast cleanses (due to my constant need for anti-biotics) and I know when something works or doesn't work.  This is working.

However, your bottle states very specifically that the product "causes no 'die off' reaction."  I know a lot about the Herxheimer reaction.  I don't know if I am the first person to use it as a verb, but I was all over that.  Herxing is something I'm very familiar with.  You can call it Herxing or die off or whatever you want.  Regardless of its name, I know what it is.

Your product caused the absolute worst herxing of my life besides valcyte.  Valcyte is crazy strong prescription shit that they gave me to kill the EBV.  You are an OTC supplement that claims not to cause "die off."  I am sorry, but I'm calling bullshit.

Your product kicked my ass for most of last week.  My assistant agreed that I was a zombie one day at work.  I left and was home by six and then I slept for nearly 13 hours.  Just to clue you in, this is not a luxury that young lawyers get.

Your label is a LIAR.  I'm still taking your product.  I am simply posting this little letter so that people can find one person's opinions.  Perhaps you'll google you and realize that your claim is completely batshit nutters.  Your product certainly does cause die off.  Perhaps your typical consumer is not experienced with die off, but I'm a pro.

Sincerely,
Danielle (aka, Professional Herxer and She who is prone to bronchitis)

I think I understood about 14 words. Someday, I will grasp what the hell you are talking about. Until then, I’ll just pretend like I know what a “herxer” is supposed to do. XXOO

While I’ve never gone through it, I’ve seen Danielle do so…several times. It is not pretty. It is actually disturbing.
D…I hope you get over this shit and soon. I don’t like zombies much, kthxbai.

Hmm. That is strange. I didn’t experience a reaction at all! It is the only thing that has ever worked for my yeast problem. The only problem is that it is so expensive!

I’m very sorry to hear your reaction. I had absolutely NO ‘DIE OFF’ EFFECT. And YES…. IT IS A HORRIBLE THING TO EXPERIENCE! This product was such a God send for me. End of a 15 yr battle… finally.

I have recommended it to many many others. The first thing I hear back from them is they were AMAZED it worked and that it had no ‘die off’ effect for them either. So, again, I’m so sorry you are dealing with that. The label is true for me and for many of my relatives and friends.

The Natural/Alternative doc that gave it to me in Las Vegas, took it herself first. She was another person who seemed to find nothing short of eating raw veggies the rest of her life to stop the yeast. This worked for her and over 100 of her patients…. so far…. SO FAR…. NONE have had any ‘die off’ effect. I’m going to show her your letter, just as a heads up. Maybe some people have this reaction, or maybe you have an allergy to one of the ingredients?

I’m not a doctor of any kind… I’m simply a customer of Candisol and am so very thankful to have found it…. & maybe you’ve already contacted the company & other doctors to ask why such a severe response from you? But, your reaction would definitely worry me, especially after personally witnessing over 12 friends & family use it & being aware also of my NaturalPath’s other patients. (I believe the actual amount is 104)

I’ve spent the last 15 years fighting yeast with every product I could find at health food stores, prescribed by Main stream doctors, Alternative doctors and even a few therapies in the Barbados at a very high rated Clinic: http://www.themaasclinic.com/ The Maas Clinic (no affiliation with them…. I’m only adding it to prove the extremes I’ve gone to) . I’ve only seen minimal effect thru most of the products & therapies. The Maas Clinis came the closest to helping me… they took care of everything else… but not yeast on me. Most of their other ‘yeast’ patients did show marked improvement… mine was seemingly unbeatable…. until Candisol.

I’ve been very concerned that I’ve only found one company make this product… I sincerely hope more companies start making competitive products in case Bairn quits making it. I don’t want to go back to the battle.

Good luck to you….
Tami

Two bottles per year is more than enough to keep me balanced now.

Using a half dose , or even 1/4 dose to begin with, would lessen the intensity of the Herx. Overall, the effect you saw, indicates that you had a huge yeast overgrowth. A week on a lower dose, then increasing slowly, would help to lessen the unpleasant effects.
