Contest Time: The Big Beauty Giveaway

I am super excited about this giveaway.  It is my biggest yet!  Depending on how long you've been reading, you may remember when we discussed my top ten money wasting tips.  Number 7 was Cosmetics.  It's time to do a little spring cleaning and get rid of some of my recent unused cosmetic/beauty purchases.  Unlike past contests, the winners (there will be two) will be selected randomly.  But I'm going to give you plenty of chances to earn LOTS of entries.  

First and most importantly, the prizes.  Since this is a beauty related contest, there will be a $50 gift card to Sephora.  Second, there will be a giant box of beauty products.  Honestly, the value is worth greater than $50, but your stuck with stuff that I've already got.  Here's what's in the box:

 

First, there is a bunch of stuff, including a make up bag that I got as a free gift at Ulta.  Lovely colors.

 
Then, these things are sort of nail related.  Qtica is a green nail line.  Note, I did use a bit of the solid gold product (the one that is covered by the paper), but none of the other products have been touched.  The fancy feet are great in heels.

 

Next, we've got some upscale brands.  Smashbox bronzer (not enough to make you Suze Orman Orange, but bronze all the same), some lovely smashbox eyeshadows, a quartet of Stila eyeshadows that I purchased from Gilt and never touched once I removed them from the box and a Laura Mercier mineral shadow in a lovely purple shade. Also, there's some Posie Tint from Benefit.  I have no idea why I bought this.  I have the original Benetint and never used that.  I don't like liquid blush.

 
    

Next we've got lotion stuff.  First, there is Levera anti-aging lotion.  I won this, but I am honestly afraid of it because it has caffeine.  I have no idea if it will sink into my skin and tweek me out like a can of coke does, but I'm not taking chances.  Then, there is a generic bath and body works lotion.  There is a lavendar pillow mist.  Last, there is a night cream made from organic ingredients.  I used one pump worth and it was too heavy for my oily skin so that was a wasted $20.

 

Here are a few hodge podge items that are left.  First, there's a gal pal.  I have the other one that came in the pack.  It can get deodorant marks off of fabric.  It is magic.  There are random headbands, all of which squish my giant head, and are leftovers from sets (the ones I tried on were thrown away).  There are a couple of dermalogica samples that I have from a facial.  And, so you can feel extra pretty, there's a set of fake eyelashes and adhesive from Sephora.  

Like the Showcase Showdown, the winner on random.org (the first number drawn) can choose whether they want the giant box o' stuff or the gift card.  The second winner gets whatever the first winner did not want.
