I was paranoid about having no credit cards available while on my DMP. Mostly because I don't want to completely kill my credit rating by having nothing available. I also want something convenient for things like car rentals and booking airfare. That type of thing.
I recently got a pre-approval from a bank. I applied and I didn't think they were going to give me the card. They are morons for approving me. But they gave me a card with a decent credit line.
Let me be clear – I am not using this credit card. I am not going to carry a balance on this credit card. I am simply trying to stay alive in the credit game while I am on my DMP.
Although it has a 0% interest rate until sometime next year and I really want a nice treadmill…. I'm kidding. Geez. You guys are so sensitive.

Step 1 Get zipper style plastic bag
Step 2 Fill with water
Step 3 Drop new card into a cool little carring case
Step 4 Place flat in freezer until block form
Step 5 If you have the “need” to use said card you will have to think about it
