Today, I walked to McDonald's for lunch with my boss. While crossing a busy street, my ankle gave out and I started to fall. As I was headed straight for the curb (with my teeth), my boss caught me and saved my teeth. Then, after standing up, I realized that I had almost collided with a bicyclist. It was a sad scene, yet, not that out of the ordinary for me.

Father, you look nothing like guy fierri unless you've really upped the jewelry ante since July.
Once per week, my boss (who is EXTREMELY schedule driven when it comes to lunch) likes to walk to lunch to conserve fuel. There are two places in walking distance: McDonald's or Jersey Mike's. Jersey Mike's (no relation to you, obviously) makes the best subs I've had out here, but they are pricey and it is a $10 lunch instead of a $5 lunch, which is my boss's goal. Hence, McDonald's.
The closest In N Out is the one you went to near UNLV. That is "outside of the grid" which my boss has deemed an acceptable distance to travel for lunch. If it is summer or winter break, we can sometimes get him to go. But it is a rare treat.

Oy. I am so familiar with that falling down feeling. And it's definitely the teeth I am always worried about knocking out, too.
